Project overview

Maribyrnong Secondary College has a long history as one of Victoria’s first sports schools. To further its success and emulate its strength the Sport Stadium was built with PRS’s help.

This contemporary structure with its distinctive, steep angular lines stands is the focal point of the college grounds. Setting out this complex structure consisted of meticulous planning and accurate engineering for its grand design to work. The stadium is four storeys high and is the hub for change rooms, offices and sports science. It includes weight training, physio rooms, hot and cold spas, an indoor running track, basketball courts, a badminton centre and much more.

The project required PRS to perform the initial Feature Survey and once plans had been produced, set-out the various exterior and interior walls and floor levels to a high standard of accuracy.

PRS is regularly employed by the Victorian Government to assist with infrastructure upgrades, performing boundary surveys and construction set-out work.
